About Us

The club is situated at the rear of the Hayling Island Community Centre. The installation of the all-weather surface and floodlights in October 2021 enables us to have all-year-round flat green bowling on 7 rinks.

We are open to all persons irrespective of age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious or other beliefs except as a necessary consequence of the requirements of bowls as a particular sport.

We run Open Roll Up sessions, internal competitions, friendly matches with other clubs and enter teams in local leagues.

Dress code is 'Casual' except for certain matches and club events (details provided on fixture list) but flat soled bowls shoes are always a requirement.  Members have full access to the green except when organised events are scheduled.

We welcome visitors, such as other touring bowls clubs or other organisations who would like to use the facilities. We also offer 'taster sessions' (Have a Go button) so you can decide if the sport and club are what you're looking for. If you decide to join, we have experienced players and coaches who can help you.
